Charlotte Omnès is a food stylist with a reputation for presenting food in clever and innovative ways. She has an expansive culinary background and draws upon the influences of both the classic and modern worlds in her work.
After many years working in the kitchens of restaurants, cruise boats and catering firms as well as developing an extensive background in recipe and product development, Charlotte was naturally drawn to food styling. Through her in-depth knowledge of product research, consumer testing and recipe writing she has developed keen insights into the relationship between food and how it relates to the public. Charlotte's “can do” spirit and constant strive for excellence and distinction, make her an asset to every photographer and client she works with.
Charlotte gained her editorial food styling experience with Seattle Metropolitan Magazine and book publishers including Chronicle and Sasquatch Books. She is masterful at creating beautiful ads for products such as seafood, fresh produce, ice cream, coffee, desserts and kitchenware for grocery promotions, national commissions and international brands.
Charlotte has extensive experience in styling food for packaging such as cereal, vegetables, frozen entrees, seafood, soups and Asian foods. She has also created television ads for products such as salad dressings and food for Mexican fast food chains. In addition, Charlotte has participated in numerous live cooking demonstrations and has been on local and national television shows, including Cucina Amore and Unwrapped.
A native Washingtonian, Charlotte lives in the Seattle area and when not hard at work enjoys traveling, entertaining at home and hunting for additions to her antique eggbeater collection. |
